Summer Fashion!

Hey guys! Here are some outfit ideas for summer that i created on my Polyvore and i personally love! I hope you enjoy!

Look 1: So here is the first look - it is a really simple and comfortable look that many fashion bloggers such as SpinDizzyFall and Tuula Vintage have been sporting recently -as well as many big fashion magazines such as Vogue. I put two pairs of shoes in here, just in case you aren’t comfortable wearing heels with such a simple outfit - its really a case of whether you want to dress this outfit up or down. The thing that is really nice about this outfit is that it is great for summer weather - especially since its really starting to heat up however it may not be hot enough to wear shorts. Although there isn't too much colour in this outfit, it means you can wear lots of colour on your face - such as a bright lipstick, and it will stand out very nicely. However a neutral look may also look good as well - it depends on your personal preference. I would suggest tucking parts of the top in so it doesn’t cover too much of the jeans and look daggy.

sandals - Sam Edelman

Look 2: So this is the second look - stripes have been very in fashion lately, i suggest wearing them horizontally if it is a top or dress, but vertically if it is in a skirt or anything below the waist, as it tends to enhance a smaller figure. If you are wearing a mostly monochrome outfit, I would advise wearing one statement piece that is a different tone, such as these such shoes. I love this outfit because it is very casual and would be great for shopping or lunch out with friends.

Look 3: This is the 3rd look - i really like this look because its alot different than the other two. This would be perfect for a festival or a relaxed day at the beach.  One of the things I love about this outfit is the fact that even though the colours are fairly dark - there is still a pop of colour from the shoes - especially since they complement the blue shorts (opposite on the colour wheel). I love the top as it has detailing at the bottom and has a leather look. The army pattern on the glasses also adds small colour detail, so there is not too much colour blocking. I would also suggest not wearing white socks under the docs but instead black or darker coloured socks. Some socks from asos or culture kings would go very well with this outfit.
